I want a story about a gay girl disguising herself as a guy to get into an all boy school. When she meets her roommate, he happens to have a banging personality and a very pleasing face. The girl has a sexuality crisis because she starts to fall for the roommate but in reality, the roommate is actually another girl disguised as a guy so that she can attend the school

#the entire school is just gay girls dressed as guys in hopes of attending the school (via buttergin)

I under stand that my head is tilted by a professional smile???
How is my smile not professional???

Let’s try round 2.

Rejected again.

I’m very confused. I must inquire further.

Audrey says “fuck your gender roles”

This movie is super underrated.

Audrey is so underrated. How can you not love her?

I have a love-hate relationship with this movie. On one hand it’s got awesome PoC characters who defy racial and gender stereotypes. It also discusses colonialism and how people tend to destroy indigenous cultures to obtain land and resources (which is why the crew ultimately decided a to pretend they never found Atlantis because they don’t want anyone else to try and destroy the culture). But on the other hand, the whole plot is that Atlantis needs a white, cishet man to save it from extinction and for some reason he understand their culture and language better than they do.

hEY FUCK YOU OKAYMILO WAS THE ANTITHESIS OF WHITE SAVIORHE WAS A NERDY USELESS LITTLE SHIT WHO WAS COWARDLY UNTIL OTHERS FORCED HIM TO ACTHIS ONLY STRENGTHS WERE HIS MIND AND HIS ETHICSHE WAS THE PERFECT DUDE FOR THE JOB AND THE REASON HE KNEW BETTER WAS BECAUSE HE RIGOROUSLY STUDIED TEXTS THAT HAD BEEN LOST OR DESTROYED IN ATLANTIS BECAUSE KIDA’S FATHER INTENTIONALLY LET HIS KINGDOM LAPSE INTO DECAY AND OBSCURITYDO NOT PULL THAT WHITE SAVIOUR BULLSHIT BECAUSE MILO WAS A DAMN GOOD DUDE

Here we take our Disney very, very seriously.

Milo was a good character, yes. Milo is also very much the definition of a white savior. The trope’s at play in this movie, regardless of how much you love Milo or how broken your caps lock is, that’s still true.
Of course the narrative has to come up with an excuse for people not to understand their culture as well as a complete outsider, it doesn’t change anything.

"i like this character therefore he can’t be a white savior"that’s not how it…exactly works…
